Fact Check: There has been a message circulating around that the Indian government has brought forward a five-phase roadmap to ease the COVID-19 restrictions.

Lockdown 3.0 in India is currently nearing its end and hence re has been a lot of hubbub as to what would happen after lockdown ends. Prime Minister of India, PM Narendra Modi, informed that re will be a Lockdown 4.0 as well, though it would be different and details would be out by May 18. Since n, re have been a lot of messs and WhatsApp forwards that claim that government has brought forward a roadmap to ease restrictions for COVID-19 - that it is set for 5 phases, and each phase has a 3-week review process.

PIB Fact Check shared a picture of same Whatsapp Forward on ir Twitter account and released that it is fake and misleading information. Fact Check claimed that this ‘roadmap’ was t made by Indian government. It also claimed that phases are of some or country’s roadmap.
