While MHA has relaxed movement of stranded migrants, students and emergency cases amid lockdown 3.0, a Jammu & Kashmir-based news portal recently reported that J&K students stranded in Delhi due to lockdown were asked by ir college administration to arrange ir own means of transport back home.  portal reported that students were asked by ir college to vacate premises and arrange buses back to J&K amid extended lockdown.

claim by news portal has been outed as false and baseless. administration of University had never asked J&K students to leave. Moreover, administration and University had t directed students to arrange for ir own buses back to Union territory. Government's fact-checking p- Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check on Twitter shut down this rumour calling this report 'incorrect.'
