As new lockdown rules of Unlock 2.0 will be implied in India from July 1 (outside contained zones) many WhatsApp and or social media forwards are being shared with respect to same. Unlock 2.0 focuses on relaxing furr lockdown restrictions in n-containment zones and will be implemented from Wednesday i.e. July 1. However many new set of social media forwards are being seen throughout web with respect to new lockdown rules. According to mess, Mumbai residents are asked to restrict mselves within a rius of 2 km from ir homes, t more than that. WhatsApp mess also states about essential shop timings, indicating that certain shops would remain open from 9 am to 5 pm from w on. Some or rules include guidelines where only a single person is allowed to go out of house at one time. All residents are ordered to maintain 5 feet distance from each or while buying things at shop. Republic World did a fact check on viral mess
- On analysis of aunticity of this WhatsApp forward, it was observed that such official guidelines were actually released by Mumbai Police.
- Mumbai police mselves rejected any connections with this WhatsApp forward that is being circulated all over in Maharashtra. Mumbai police tweeted today regarding same and vised residents to t believe in any such social media forwards unless it is shared an official handle of authorities.

BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) has however imposed a fine of ₹ 1000 to all residents who step out of ir house without wearing masks. Since Maharashtra is one of top COVID-19 affected areas, state is where near to implementing any rms of relaxation with respect to COVID-19 lockdown. Maharashtra is one of states which has w extended lockdown till July 31st.
