What is rumour about?
- According to mess that is being forwarded on Facebook, video shows a group of policemen killing a man.
- rumour states that man was killed as he protested against quarantine orders that were enforced by President Rodrigo Duterte.
- caption states that man who fought at ECQ (enhanced community quarantine) checkpoint was shot dead. It also mentions that one should repeat this orwise CHR (Philippine Commission on Human Rights) and opposition Liberal Party in Philippines will find some excuse for this.

Republic World did a fact check
- Republic World did a fact check on specific video and found it to be False. video in question does t showcase policemen shooting a man but it is instead a clip from a drill that policemen were training for.
- video in question has been viewed a 1000 times and refore it was important to check aunticity of video. As Philippine National Police mentioned, video is of a training drill, and when video is completely seen, we can even see that man who was shot is moving around quite easily even after gunshot sound. training exercise was carried out in Sipocot town, Bicol region. Take a look at whole video.
- However, one such similar occurrence took place in Philippines where a former soldier was shot by police at quarantine checkpoint last Tuesday, i.e., on April 21, 2020. Reportedly, 63-year-old man was shot because he threatened to attack policemen. Check out mess sent by Philippines officials.
