World Diabetes Day is observed annually on November 14, which falls on a Thursday this year. day aims to raise awareness of diabetes prevention, diagnosis, and management.

According to World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 422 million people worldwide have diabetes, with most living in low- to middle-income countries, and 1.5 million deaths are attributed to diabetes annually.
