11 CISF personnel posted at Mumbai Airport test positive for COVID-19
In a big development on Friday, it has been revealed that 11 jawans of the CISF posted at the Mumbai Airport have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

In a big development on Friday, it has been revealed that 11 jawans of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) posted at Mumbai Airport have tested positive for vel coronavirus. This was confirmed by Panvel Municipal Commissioner Dr. Ganesh Deshmukh. While 142 CISF personnel were under quarantine since last few days, 4 of m tested positive on Thursday while one jawan tested positive on Friday. At same time, CISF observed that sample of one jawan had been sent for testing for third time after result of first two tests was contrary to each or. aforesaid jawan has been kept in an isolation ward.

Coronavirus crisis
Currently, re are 2301 confirmed vel coronavirus cases in India out of which 157 people have recovered and 56 have lost ir lives. In order to combat COVID-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared a 21-day nationwide lockdown beginning from March 25. As per Health Ministry, 647 COVID-19 cases in last two days across 14 states are connected to Markaz religious congregation.

Earlier in day, PM Modi shared a video mess with people of India. He urged everyone to switch off lights at 9 pm on April 5 and light a diya, candle or flashlights for 9 minutes to showcase unity in fight against vel coronavirus. However, PM cautioned against congregating for this purpose.
