Police have registered a case against four persons, including a woman, for allegedly trying to implicate a businessman in a false case of drugs in Nagpur, an official said on Sunday.

Two of accused, Nikita Meshram (28) and Manmeetsingh Harwindarsingh Takkhar (22), have been arrested, while two ors, prime-accused Amrindarsingh alias Gaurav Bagga and drug peddler Kanni, are absconding, police said.

"On Saturday evening, Takkhar and Nikita reached victim's shop in Quetta Colony area posing as customer. She secretly dumped around 4 grams of drug in packet under counter and left from place. However, ar customer ticed her act and alerted victim's son," official said.
" shop owner's son picked up packet and threw it outside shop. One of accused later called police and told m that some banned drug was lying in shop. Accordingly, Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) raided shop, but could t find anything," he said.
Meanwhile, victim suspected role of Bagga in episode and informed police about it. After going through CCTV foot, police caught Nikita and Takkhar. accused will be produced in a court on Monday. A case was registered at Lakganj police station against accused under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
