Jammu: A terror plot by the Jammu Kashmir Ghaznavi Force was foiled in Poonch on Saturday, with the arrest of two hybrid terrorists linked to the terror organization.
Authorities recovered three grenades and pistols from the arrested duo.
The arrests have helped solve over five cases of grenade attacks in the Poonch district, shedding light on recent terror activities in the region.
Both arrested terrorists have been identified as Abdul Aziz and Manwar Hussain.
Recovered items include three grenades, one pistol, one magazine, and nine rounds of ammunition.
They received four consignments of arms, ammunition, and terror funding totaling Rs. 1.5 lakh from various locations in Poonch.
Abdul Aziz and Manwar Hussain also underwent training in a forest area, where they learned to handle and fire a pistol. They reportedly fired a few rounds during their practice sessions.
