3 Dead, 2 Injured in Pickup Van-Trailer Crash in Jharkhand

Seraikela:  Three people were killed and two ors seriously injured in a head-on collision between a pickup van and a trailer in Jharkhand 's Seraikela-Kharswan district, police official reported on Monday.

incident took place late Sunday night in Sini-Sidma More area along Seraikela-Rajnagar road, within Seraikela police station jurisdiction.

drivers of both vehicles and ar passenger in pickup van died at scene, while two or occupants sustained serious injuries, police added.

y were first taken to Seraikela Sadar Hospital, from where y were referred to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur following preliminary treatment.

Seraikela Sub-Divisional Police Officer Samir Kumar said all deceased were residents of Chatra district.

bodies were recovered and sent for post-mortem examination, he added.
