3 killed, 3 Injured As Eeco Van Plunges into Gorge in J-K's Reasi District
Three persons, including a 10-month old baby, were killed and at least 4 are critically injured as their car fell into a gorge in Reasi district.

Jammu: Three persons, including a 10-month old baby, were killed and at least 4 are critically injured as their car skidded off a hilly road and plunged into a deep gorge in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir early Saturday, officials said.
The accident occured at Chamalu Morh near Chassana and the victims are believed to belong to the same family, they said.

The private car was headed for Chassana from Reasi when its driver lost its control, they said, adding local volunteers found three of the occupants dead on the spot.
Kulcha Devi, 27, her infant son Neeraj Singh, and nephew Sandhoor Singh, 23, died instantly when their car plunged into a deep gorge. Devi’s husband, Chankaar Singh, 32, her brother-in-law Dhunkar, 19, and another nephew, Ajay Singh, 18, were critically injured.

Three critically injured persons were rushed to hospital, the officials added.
In a separate incident in Reasi's Chassana area, two non-local laborers lost their lives when a dumper they were traveling in fell into a gorge early Wednesday morning. Surinder Singh, 42, from Punjab , and Munna Kumar, 26, from Bihar , died instantly when the vehicle, en route from Bakori to Sungri, overturned. Their bodies were retrieved and transported to the hospital for postmortem.
