Noida: A 30-year-old banker died after suffering a heart attack in Uttar Pradesh's Mahoba. The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Shinde, the agri general manger at an HDFC branch. The incident reportedly happened on June 19 and heightens concerns about rising heart disease among young Indians.

A video of the incident has surfaced online where he can be seen working on his laptop when he suddenly collapsed on his chair. His colleagues sitting beside him quickly alerted others and moved him from his desk to an open area.

They even sprinkled water on his face and attempted CPR to revive him. But, as his condition worsened, the bank officials took Shinde to a hospital, however, it was too late as he died.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure involving chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth ventilation to save a life.

While aging is a significant factor affecting heart health, the increase in heart attack deaths among individuals under 40 has raised concerns nationwide. Doctors attribute this worrying trend to sedentary lifestyles, poor dietary habits, stress and other factors.
