4 Drunk Men Killed After Car Collides with Tractor in Noida
The victims, all residents of Delhi, had travelled to Noida for dinner and were on their way back when the tragic accident occurred.
Noida: Four people lost their lives, and one person was seriously injured after their car collided with a tractor in Sector 10, Noida, late on Sunday night, according to police reports. The victims, all residents of Delhi, had travelled to Noida for dinner and were on their way back when the tragic accident occurred.
According to police, all four men died on the spot were drunk and were driving rashly which led to the accident. DCP, Noida, Ram Badan Singh said, "A speeding car carrying five men collided with a tractor in the areas of Sector 10-11 last night. Two people died on the spot, while three injured were admitted to the hospital. The men were driving rashly, and it appears that they were drunk. A total four people have died in the incident."
Victims Pronounced Dead at Hospital
The police stated that the victims were rushed to a nearby hospital but were pronounced dead on arrival. The bodies have been kept for post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, one person remains hospitalised and is undergoing treatment for his injuries.
Tractor Taken into Custody, Case Registered
The police have registered a case regarding the accident, and the tractor involved in the collision has been taken into custody. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the crash.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath Offers Condolences
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured person. He also instructed officials to ensure that the injured individual receives proper medical care and that the local administration takes necessary measures to assist the victims' families. The Chief Minister’s office is actively coordinating with local authorities to address road safety concerns in the area.
