4-Year-Old Killed in Leopard Attack in Pune

Pune: In anor incident of leopard attack in Maharashtra's Pune, a four-year-old boy was killed in a leopard attack in Shirur tehsil of Pune district. A forest official, on Saturday, confirmed incident saying that child was playing outside his house when leopard hiding in a sugarcane field attacked and killed him. 

According to a forest official, incident took place in Tembhekar Vasti near Mandavgan Farata village at 7 pm on Friday. 

deceased has been identified as Shivtej Tembhekar, whose body was found a distance after incident. 

forest official stated, "Shivtej Tembhekar h come to his village with his parents for Diwali. While playing outside house, which is close to sugarcane fields, a leopard dragged him into thicket. His body was found later."

body was sent for post-mortem and furr legal action was initiated by police.
