Yogi govt ends 18-year-probe; sacks 64 Health officials who got jobs by fraud 20 years ago

Chief Medical Officer of Mirzapur OP Tiwari has dismissed 64 people who h managed to get jobs in Uttar Presh Health Department through fraudulent means over two deces ago.

Between 1996 and 1998, 64 people were appointed on Gre 4 posts and h been drawing salaries since n. Some of m also got promotions and were now working as clerks, Tiwari said on Saturday.

An inquiry was going on for past 18 years and government ordered ir dismissal last Wednesday after a report was submitted by Economic Offence Wing, Varanasi, chief medical officer said.

Sixty-four people who h got jobs in Health Department through fraudulent means and fake documents have been dismissed and letters have been sent to CMOs of districts where y are presently posted, Tiwari said.
