7 Afghan cadets complete training at Chennai OTA; to discuss future with embassy in Delhi

Seven Afghan cets (soldiers) who received training at officers training acemy (OTA) in Chennai will leave for New Delhi on Sunday and would decide ir next steps after talking with officials at Afghanistan Embassy in national capital, reported news agency ANI.
se cets, along with or Indian cets, were a part of an integrated army training programme at acemy in Chennai. However, following ir arrival in India, Taliban took control of ir home nation, leaving fate of se Afghan soldiers in doubt.

Passing Out pare at Officers Training Acemy in Chennai
passing out procession of 124 male cets and 29 female cets, including 25 foreign cets, was conducted on Saturday, November 20, at Officers Training Acemy in Chennai.
"A total of 124 Gentlemen Cets of SSC-112 and 29 Women Cets of SSC (W)-26 Courses got commissioned. 16 Gentlemen Cets and nine Women Cets from Friendly Foreign Countries also completed ir training," official release re.

According to statement, Lieutenant General CP Mohanty, Vice Chief of Army Staff, reviewed pare and gave Sword of Honour and OTA Gold Medal to ACA Siddhanth Sharma, Silver Medal to BUO Dimple Singh Bhati, and Bronze Medal to BCA Muneesh Kumar. officers go through 11 months of comprehensive training that moulds m into "future leers of Indian Army," release stressed.
Jyoti Nainwal, wife of late soldier Deepak Nainwal, finished her training at Officers Training Acemy in Chennai. Jyoti, from Dehrun, was accompanied by her children. Lt Nainwal stated that she wished to carry on life of pride that her husband h given m.
