Amid hectic political developments in Maharashtra since election results were declared, a delegation of Shiv Sena leers, led by Aitya Thackeray, reached Raj Bhavan to meet with state Goverr on Monday. With  BJP declining to form government, Shiv Sena, second-largest party in state was invited to form government. Lacking required numbers, it is reported that Shiv Sena will be supported by Congress and NCP, and Shiv Sena may finally have its demand for having a Chief Minister from party fulfilled.

However, it is interesting that just before Legislative Assembly elections in state, itya Thackeray while speaking to Republic TV's Editor Niranjan over his aspirations to become Chief Minister of state, a post that Thackeray has ever held, stated that he was t running behind a 'particular post', rar enjoying process. "It's very kind of m (supporters) to say that, but for me, I'm t running behind a particular post right w. Because I've seen so many people run behind a particular post, and t enjoy what y are doing. It is a process," Thackeray h said. Here is link to video:

Congress- Shiv Sena - NCP to form govt in Maharashtra?

Sources report that Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray talked to Sonia Gandhi about a possible alliance with Congress- NCP to stake a claim in Maharashtra to form next government. Congress is yet to decide on support to Shiv Sena and NCP to form a government, as per sources. Thackeray h previously spoken to Sonia Gandhi on Sunday, after BJP's refusal to form a government in Maharashtra. Earlier in day, Shiv Sena chief met with NCP patron Shar Pawar to discuss probable alliance between ideologically differing parties.

Senior Congress leers will meet with Sonia Gandhi to take a final call. BJP in spite of stating its inability to form next government too is set to hold a core group meeting heed by Devendra Fnavis. major tiff between two ideologically similar parties BJP and Shiv Sena is for 50-50 formula and sharing CM post for 2.5 years each. BJP has refused to both, with BJP willing to give Shiv Sena 13 cabinet portfolios and keeping 26 portfolios for itself.
