After BJP setback in Hindi Heartland, 'ally' Shiv Sena takes 'Pehle Mandir, Phir Sarkar' demand to Parliament

Despite results in five states indicating Mandir narrative has t worked, BJP's 'ally' Shiv Sena has pressed with its Ayodhya Mandir demand this time in Parliament. Shiv Sena MP Anandrao sul speaking in Parliament said that BJP h failed to keep its election promise of constructing Ram Mandir. sul said: "vani h taken out a Rath Yatra for Mandir, Atal Bihari Vajpayee's 13 month government became four and half year one. At that time he government h 25 parties so Mandir did t happen. but today government is in majority. We have Ram Mandir in our manifesto, it has been four and half years but unfortunately government has t me any efforts on matter. Our alliance with BJP h Hindutva nda and that will remain nda, but we think BJP has forgotten nda hence on 25 vember, our he Uddhav Thackeray h gone to Ayodhya and reminded government. Pehle Mandir ba me sarkar yeh he Hindu ki pukar - That is nda. We want to tell government that eir bring a law, or have case in SC expedited. But with ordinance if issue arises before elections n whatever happened in five states, we are listening and hearing and government must keep that in mind, this is our request."
BJP's ally Shiv Sena on December 10 h said it would t allow Parliament to function during winter session, starting on December 11 if government does t bring a bill for construction of Ram temple at disputed site in Ayodhya.

" Shiv Sena has been demanding that government brings a bill in Parliament for construction of Ram temple. If government does t do so in winter session, starting tomorrow, our party would t allow Parliament to function," Khare said after meeting.
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, during his visit to Ayodhya last month, h said BJP government at Centre "may t last" if temple was t built in Ayodhya and h demanded that an ordinance be brought for purpose.

Thackeray h said BJP manifesto for 2014 general elections stated that possible solutions to Ram temple issue would be searched while remaining within ambit of constitution.
