Gurugram: The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) rushed to action following a viral video showing vehicles "flying" after hitting an unmarked speed breaker on Gurugram's Golf Course Road. The GMDA authorities have taken immediate action and put up a cautionary sign board after a failed attempt to put stop such incidents at the site.
Earlier, a video went viral on social media, wherein the footage captured a speeding BMW launching into the air for over a second, landing about 15 feet away, while two trucks also encountered the unmarked obstacle. The jaw-dropping video that showed cars literally taking flight after hitting an unmarked speed breaker on Gurugram's Golf Course Road, sparked swift action from authorities. The shocking footage showed a speeding luxurious car airborne for over a second, landing a whopping 15 feet away, while two trucks also met the same fate.

In response to public backlash, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) installed a cautionary sign reading "Speed Breaker Ahead." They also applied thermoplastic white paint to the speed breaker for improved visibility at night, aiming to help motorists navigate the area more safely.
Golf Course Road is lined with several high-end residential developments, including DLF Camellias, Tulip Monsella, Golf Estate at M3M, and DLF Magnolias.
