Agra: Police arrests five Russians for flying drone near Taj Mahal
Police took 5 Russian tourists under their custody for flying a drone near 'prohibited area' of Mehtab Bagh, which is in the vicinity of the Taj Mahal, on Sat.

Agra police took five Russian tourists under ir custody for flying a drone near Mehtab Bagh in vicinity of Taj Mahal on Saturday. tourists informed police that y h kwledge about fact that area is prohibited. Banners in various langus have been designed after incident to make people aware that area around Taj is a -fly zone.
Agra SP talks about incident
Speaking about drone-flying incidents near Taj Mahal, Superintendent of Police (SP) City, BR Pras said, "We got information about some foreign tourists flying drones in area. Upon questioning y said y h idea of it being a prohibited area. y are being interrogated to ascertain ir intent”. He furr claimed that police department has designed banners in multiple langus to make citizens aware of rule.

“We have today designed some banners in 5 to 6 langus which will be put up soon in Mehtab Bagh, Shilp Gram and east and west gates among ors proclaiming it to be a prohibited area for flying drones," Pras said. Furr investigation in matter is underway.
Drones from Pakistan
Drones have been a continuous security threat for Indian Army after several instances of Pakistani drones being recovered in country. Previously on October 22, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel at Hussainiwala border in Ferozepur spotted a drone entering from Pakistan's side. Ar Pakistani drone h been spotted in same sector on October 8.

Earlier on September 24, Punjab police h recovered a half-burnt unmanned vehicle from Tarn Taran district. According to reports, police h stated that a drone was used to drop weapons from Pakistan to fuel unrest in Punjab and joining States. Furr, police h revealed that a terror group, Khalistan Zindab Force (KZF), was firing through drones.
