AIIMS statement: "Arun Jaitley haemodynamically stable, being treated in ICU under multidisciplinary team of doctors"

A statement released by AIIMS said that Jaitley's condition was 'hemodynamically' stable and that he is undergoing treatment in the ICU.

In first statement released by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's health condition, hospital's Media and Protocol Division's Chairperson has stated that he is "haemodynamically stable" and presently being treated in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) "under supervision of a multidisciplinary team of doctors". 

As per official statement, Jaitley was admitted at hospital on Friday morning.

Sources confirmed to Republic Media Network that former Union Minister was admitted at AIIMS' Cardio-Neuro-Centre. 

In evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Jaitley at AIIMS hospital. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan had also visited former Union Minister at time of publishing.

BJP leaders RP Singh, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Ashwin Choubey, Vijay Goel also visited top BJP Leader at hospital.

Below is full statement as released by AIIMS Hospital on health condition of Jaitley: 

Jaitley, who held portfolios of Finance and Corporate Affairs for entirety of first Narendra Modi-led NDA government, had earlier opted out of second Modi government that was sworn-in in May, citing health grounds. He had, however, said that he would assist government in an informal capacity to extent that he was able. He has continued to write on Facebook and Twitter on a number of issues significant to country - continuing trend of blogging that he had kicked off in 2018 when he had cogently presented arguments on various topics, ranging from ecomy to politics.
