Almost a month after Ayodhya verdict was prounced, All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has filed its review petition on Friday, on behalf of Muslim parties. In petition filed, AIMPLB stated that Hindus never had complete rights over disputed land as Muslims offered prayers in place till 1949. body had anunced that it will file for review just hours after Supreme Court verdict favoured Hindus, clearing pathway for construction of Ram Temple.

Rajeev Dhawan sacked
Previously on Tuesday, Advocate Rajeev Dhawan confirmed that his sacking was as per wishes of client - Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind and t All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB). He added that client had some issues with him and called ir claims of his ill-health false. He added that client had submitted ir draft review to him and n had rejected his corrected draft. AIMPLB to backed ousted Rajeev Dhawan thanking him for his service.

AIMPLB rejects land offer
Earlier on vember 17, AIMPLB rejected Supreme Court's offer of alternate land of 5 acres to build a mosque stating offer will t heal wounds caused to community. board also stated that building mosque in an alternate location was t permissible according to Islamic Law. It also decided to file review petition unanimously.

Supreme Court's Ayodhya verdict
Prouncing landmark judgment in Ayodhya dispute case on vember 9, Supreme Court, delivered a unanimous judgment in title suit of disputed area awarding it to Hindu parties for construction of a temple. It also directed Centre to come up with a scheme within three months to set up a trust which will hand over outer courtyard and inner courtyard of site for construction of a temple. Apart from this, SC stated that an alternate land of 5 acres is to be allotted to Muslims for liberty of constructing a mosque, eir by central govt or State govt, in a suitable and prominent place in Ayodhya. CJI Ranjan Gogoi, while delivering unanimous judgment, dismissed claims of Sunni Central Waqf Board and Nirmohi Akhara. He also termed that three-way division of disputed land by Allahabad HC in its 2010 verdict is wrong.
