As Indian Air Force commemorates its 88th anniversary on Thursday, tributes and best wishes poured in for brave warriors who sacrifice ir lives to safeguard skies of country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined Indian Army, Defence Minister and crores of citizens in paying tributes to Indian Air Force for ir valour and dedication in protecting nation.
In a video mess, PM Modi praised remarkable growth of Indian Air Force into a strong and massive defence force. We salute cour, valour and might of IAF personnel who sacrifice ir lives to protect crores of citizens of country.

“Many congratulations to all brave warriors of Indian Air Force on Air Force Day. You t only keep skies of country safe but also play a leing role in service of humanity in times of disaster. Your cour, valour and dedication to protecting country are inspiring to everyone,” Prime Minister tweeted.

Chief of Army Staff, General MM Naravane also conveyed best wishes to all ranks of Indian Air Force on its 88th anniversary and prayed for its endless glory and success. Taking to its official Twitter account, Indian Army quoted MM Naravane’s mess “Touch Sky with Glory” on IAF Day 2020.

'Force to reckon with'
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh paid tributes to Indian Air Force, remembering its immeasurable sacrifice throughout 88 years of its dedicated service. “Today, IAF is a lethal and formidable force to reckon with,” he said on Twitter.
“ Nation is proud of its men and women in blue and salutes prowess of IAF as it stands rey to face challenges and deter versaries. We remain committed to enhancement of IAF's combat capability through modernisation and indigenisation,” Defence Minister tweeted.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended greetings on occasion and praised cour and determination of Indian Air Force personnel in safeguarding our skies and providing assistance in all odds.
