New Delhi: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval engaged in a phone conversation on Friday with his American counterpart Jake Sullivan, aiming to bolster India-US ties following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Russia.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) reported that Doval and Sullivan affirmed their commitment to enhancing India-US relations, emphasizing shared values and mutual strategic and security interests. Both advisors highlighted the importance of collaborating on global challenges to peace and security, and expressed their intent to further develop the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.

During the discussion, a broad array of topics encompassing bilateral, regional, and international issues were addressed. They also discussed upcoming high-level engagements under the Quad framework scheduled for July 2024 and later in the year.
