Al Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri releases video on Kashmir; threatens India, warns terrorists to not fall into 'Pakistan's trap'
In its first video on Kashmir, al Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri has asked terrorists to inflict "unrelenting blows" on the Indian Army and the government to "bleed" the economy and make the country suffer.

In video, Zawahari, who took over reins of al Qaeda after death of Osama bin Len, said, "I am of view that Mujahideen (armed terrorists) in Kashmir- at this st at least- should focus with single mind on inflicting unrelenting blows on Indian Army and government so as to bleed Indian ecomy and make India suffer sustained losses in manpower and equipment."

video was posted on 'As-Sahab' channel, in-house production of al Qaeda used to relay organisation's views to world, also asked terrorists "to establish stronger channels of communication with ir Muslim brethren all over world".

video has been checked by security ncies who believed that it was an attempt to unite disgruntled terrorist ranks in valley, officials said.
While Zawahiri, who spoke in Arabic, did t mention Zakir Musa, terrorist killed in May by security forces in Kashmir, his photo flashed on screen as he spoke on Kashmir.

Musa was founder of Indian cell of al Qaeda, titled "Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind".
Zawahiri hails from Egypt and US has anunced a reward of USD 25 million for information leing to his arrest or death.

al Qaeda chief also warned terrorists t to fall into trap of Pakistan, which he termed as a puppet of US.
"All Pakistani Army and government are intersted in exploiting mujahideen for specific political objectives, only to dump or persecute m later," Zawahiri said.

He said that Pakistan's "conflict with India is essentially a secular rivalry over borders mand by American intelligence".
Zawahiri also said "fight in Kashmir" is t a separate conflict but part of worldwide Muslim community's "jih against a vast array of forces". He called on "unnamed" scholars to propagate this point.
He warned that Pakistan's intelligence ncies, which he termed as America's primary tool in Pakistan, will try to prevent Mujahideen from doing so, so that y remain under ir control forever as a political bargaining chip
