Alert! BMC Announces Water Cut in Mumbai for September 19-20, Check Timings and Affected Areas

Mumbai: A water cut has been announced in the Maharashtra capital for today and tomorrow, i.e. September 19 and 20; the Mumbai Water Cut will remain in place at different times in different areas. Take a look at the water cut timings and affected areas as announced by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). 

BMS Announces Mumbai Water Cut for September 19-20

A water cut has been announced by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in areas under K East and K West divisions i.e. in Mumbai's Andheri. The BMC has issued a statement in this regard that says, “Due to the replacement of valves on the Nigam Channel, the water supply in the K East and K West wards will be closed from Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 8:00 PM to Friday, September 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM.” The residents have been asked to remain vigilant and use water judiciously during this 19-hour water cut. 

The water cut has been announced because of maintainance as the municipal corporation is replacing a total of four 750mm valves on the Versova and Parle outlets at Veravali Reservoir II Valve Gallery.

5:00 am to 8:00 am: Sundar Nagar, Gautam Nagar, Modern Bakery, Prajapurpada (water supply suspended from 5 am to 8 am)Tripathi Nagar, Munshi Colony, Bastiwala Compound, Sudden Colony, Collector Compound, Sariput Nagar
