US, China Clearly Involved In Manipur Drone Violence: Ex-IG BSF PK Mishra | Exclusive

Manipur Violence: After several people including a woman and children were injured in drone attacks by suspected militants as fresh violence surfaced in Manipur, former IG BSF PK Mishra has said that the situation in Manipur after drone attacks is a national security issue and clearly has American and China involvement.

Speaking to Republic TV’s Editor-In-Chief Arnab Goswami on the debate, PK Mishra said that it’s a very big issue and shared his concern about the unmanned Manipur and Myanmar border. It’s not just a clash between Meiteis and Kukis, he added.

"In May 2023, two American journalists had penetrated and came to Churachandpur, their passports and entries are still available. This clearly shows involvement of United States… who are directly involved in Manipur in organising a Christian state," PK Mishra said.

The former BSF IG further said, “Even China angle is there. The Manipur-Myanmar border is not manned even till today and the weapons which have come are absolutely operational and used by this repulse against the government and these drones and RPGs have come from Myanmar.”

“About 60,000-70,000 Myanmar’s are already in Manipur… so many new villages have come in Manipur and they all are Myanmar people who have entered into India. The weapons have been used against India and is a matter of national security,” PK Mishra added.

“We have failed in counter insurgency in the hills and not deployed troops in the Manipur-Myanmar border,” PK Mishra said.
