Amid Divorce Battle, Husband Reaches Wife's Classroom, Pours Petrol On Her in Pathankot

Gatora: Sensation prevailed in the Gatora village of the Bhoa constituency in Pathankot district on Tuesday when a husband allegedly entered his wife's classroom with a bottle of petrol to immolate her.

Renu Sharma, who is a teacher at the Government Primary Smart School, is said to be in a strained marriage with Lavleen Sharma. Moreover, the couple is reportedly fighting their divorce case in court. When Renu was teaching in the classroom, her husband Lavleen allegedly entered the classroom, poured petrol on her and began thrashing her leaving the students petrified.

Renu managed to escape from the classroom and immediately alerted her son. Soon cops were alerted and Renu was sent to a nearby hospital for medical examination, after which further probe would be conducted.
