Amit Shah attends 54th CISF Raising Day, vows technological boost to enhance protection

Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended 54th Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Raising Day pare at National Industrial Security Acemy (NISA) in Hyderab on Sunday, March 12.
While dressing event in Hyderab, Shah said, “PM Modi has proposed vision of a 5 trillion dollar ecomy for which safeguarding of ports, airports, etc is very important. CISF will safeguard m as y have been doing for past 53 years.”

“ Home Ministry will strengn CISF with all techlogies in upcoming times to protect ports, airports, etc. Many CISF personnel have lost ir lives in line of duty. Naxalities & terrorists are under control due to CISF, he ded.”
Piyush Anand, ditional DG (rth), CISF, stated that this is first time CISF has held Raising Day celebrations outside of Delhi national capital region (NCR), following government's decision to host Raising Day celebrations at several locations across country.

He claimed that as CISF is an all-Indian force, government believes Raising Day celebrations should take place as planned so that people from all over India can see force up close. Every year, place of event would be different.
Shah attended 53rd Central Industrial Security Force's (CISF) Raising Day celebration at Ghaziab's Indirapuram last year. All paramilitary groups have been commemorating ir Raising Day outside of Delhi for past few years.

Bastar district of Chhattisgarh will host CRPF's annual raising day on March 19. On March 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel for providing round--clock security at important locations and extended his gratitude to m on Raising Day.
In a tweet, PM Modi said, "On ir raising day, best wishes to all CISF personnel. CISF has a vital role in our security apparatus. y provide round--clock security at key locations, including critical and strategic infrastructure."

CISF was set up under an act of Parliament of India on March 10, 1969. Since n, CISF Raising Day has been celebrated on March 10 each year.
