Amit Shah Calls for Uprooting JMM-Congress Govt to End Corruption

Amit Shah on Saturday called the JMM-Congress government in Jharkhand the most corrupt in the country and urged voters to remove them to end corruption.

Hazaribag: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday criticized Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress -led government in Jharkhand, labeling it most corrupt in country, and urged voters to oust m to put an end to corruption.

“ Congress, JMM government is most corrupt government in entire country. It needs to be changed.. If you want to stop this corruption, n uproot Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress government. Those who have stolen your money will t be spared.”, Amit Shah said while dressing a campaign.

He also claimed that money seized from Congress leer Dheeraj Sahu's house rightfully belongs to youth and backward classes of Jharkhand, accusing Congress and JMM of stealing it.

"Congress leer Dheeraj Sahu's house was raided and Rs 350 crore was seized. Alamgir Alam's PA's house was raided and Rs 30 crore was seized. 27 machines were brought to count tes but y overheated and stopped working. counting went on for two days. This money belongs to youth of Jharkhand, to backward classes and it has been looted by Congress-JMM. Those who have stolen your hard-earned money will t be spared," he said.

Hazaribagh constituency in Jharkhand is set to see a triangular contest in upcoming assembly elections. BJP has minated Preep Pras as its candidate for this seat, while Congress has chosen Munna Singh. Harsh Ajmera, former BJP leer, expressed his dissatisfaction with party's ticket distribution and has decided to file his mination as an independent candidate.

81-member Jharkhand Assembly will go to polls in two phases on vember 13 and 20, with vote counting scheduled for vember 23.

A total of 2.6 crore voters are eligible to participate, including 1.31 crore male and 1.29 crore female voters, as well as 11.84 lakh first-time voters and 66.84 lakh young voters.

In 2020 Assembly elections, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) won 30 seats, BJP won 25 seats, and Congress won 16 seats. In 2014, BJP won 37 seats, JMM won 19 seats, and Congress won just 6 seats.
