Ahe of historic inauguration of Kartarpur Sahib Corridor on vember 9, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called occasion a historic achievement that generations of devotees will remember. Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Amit Shah said that Kartarpur Sahib Corridor is a historic achievement that generations of devotees will remember and it will find special mention in annals of history. Praising Centre, he ded that it reflects Modi government's commitment towards preserving  rich herit and universalising teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. In ar tweet, Union Home Minister also shared a video showing Kartarpur Corridor.

After Pakistan released its official Kartarpur song featuring pictures of pro-Khalistan leers, government sources report that Centre on Wednesday has hit out at Pakistan for promoting Khalistani content. Sources report that government has raised objections with Pakistan over video, alleging that Kartarpur platform has been used for promoting anti-India content. This development comes ahe of Kartarpur Corridor opening ceremony on vember 9.

Kartapur Corridor agreement signed

Meanwhile, on October 24, India and Pakistan signed a landmark agreement to operationalise historic Kartarpur Corridor to allow Indian Sikh pilgrims to visit holy Darbar Sahib in Pakistan. Both countries have also decided that corridor will be operational throughout year and seven days a week and that pilgrims will have a choice to visit it as individuals or in groups. Pakistan has finally waived $ 20 service fee per pilgrim on Friday, after facing severe criticism for t doing so. But, Pakistan is yet to approve complete list of pilgrims to visit Kartarpur on vember 9.
