Hitting out at Congress, Amit Shah said, “Rahul Gandhi distributed copies of Constitution with blank pages, he is indulging in petty politics.”

Taking on Sharad Pawar, the Home Minister said, “For many years there was a demand to give the Marathi language the status of a classical language. Sharad Pawar ji, you were a minister at the center for 10 years and also the Chief Minister of the state, what did you do? ... Our Prime Minister Modi honoured Maharashtra by giving Marathi the status of a classical language ...”

Amit Shah further said that before the end of current term at the Centre, (illegal) Bangladeshi nationals and Rohingyas will be evicted from Mumbai.

Maharashtra gave the mantra of 'swaraj' to the entire country. It is a land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Maharashtra is a land of Jyotiba Phule, BR Ambedkar, Jyoti Savitribai Phule, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, and Veer Savarkar. I salute this holy land of Maharashtra, Amit Shah added.

"On November 23, Mahayuti will form the government, whereas the MVA will be wiped out. Over the last 10 years, PM Modi has not just strengthened Maharashtra but the entire country. PM Modi fulfills his promises. The day I released BJP's manifesto, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge released MVA's manifesto on the same day. Few days back, Kharge advised his leaders to only make promises that they can fulfill. This is because they failed to fulfill the promises they made in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh," the Home Minister said.
