Business tycoon and popular netizens Anand Mahindra on Monday made a confession on Twitter. Mahindra and Mahindra Chairman referred to PM Narendra Modi's comment made in Chennai. PM Modi said after he told a garing about Tamil being an ancient langu during his New York visit, matter became a huge talking point overseas. Anand Mahindra wrote on Twitter saying that he was ashamed to confess that he did t kw that Tamil was one of oldest langus in world. Anand Mahindra said in his tweet that he did t kw that Tamil was one of oldest langus despite spending his schooling days in Udhagamandalam (Ooty).

PM Modi while addressing students at convocation ceremony in IIT Madras in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, spoke about how world perceives Tamil langu. “During my trip to America, I witnessed that world has a lot of expectations from India and expectations are forever growing. We will ensure welfare of country and would do so at a fast pace,” also adding, “We will make India a great country that will eventually be useful to world.”
