Anand Mahindra's 'rain & streetlights' ode to Mumbai has triggered a deluge of nostalgia

While recent heavy rains evoked bouts of stalgia among netizens who flooded ir Twitter feeds with videos and pictures of downpour, Mahindra and Mahindra group Chairman Anand Mahindra was also drawn by inescapable charm.

Taking to Twitter, he posted a video, captured from what looks like lower floors of an apartment building in which he may or may t reside, of rain falling. Captioning it 'rain revival' he went on to write about how rains and streetlights form an important part of Mumbai's imry.
His tweet read,

In video which is 16 seconds long, rain can simply be seen falling inexorably and unendingly, being illuminated by streetlight to which he is referring. clip was appreciated by netizens who also went on to share ir experience and thoughts about Mumbai rains.

One user didn't shy away to credit Legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor who had perhaps pioneered in romanticizing Mumbai rains in his movies. umbrella song of Raj Kapoor Nargis 'Pyaar hua ikraar hua' could be pointed out as one such example where rains were depicted beautifully.
This comment caught attention of Anand Mahindra who himself commented about his pursuit of original poster of film 'Barsaat'.

In a kind gesture, many of followers even took effort to post original poster of film 'Barsaat' to help industrialist end his quest.
