Andhra DGP declines Naidu's allegations over 'police raj' in the state
Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police has rubbished former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's claims that Police has become a pawn of the ruling party's hand.

Andhra Presh Director General of Police, Gautam Sawang on Saturday rejected claims me by former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that 'police raj' is prevailing in state.
DGP also denied all allegations by Telugu Desam Party (TDP), that Andhra Presh Police is igring acts of ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Leers and party workers. top cop called claims to be 'political rhetoric,' and ensured that law and order in state are under control.

" law and order in state is absolutely under control. se allegations are just political rhetoric," Sawang told reporters at a press conference at Andhra Presh Police hequarters in Mangalgiri in Amaravati Capital Region.
Telugu Desam Party has been alleging that Andhra Presh police have become pawns in hands of ruling YSRCP.

Former Andhra CM N. Chandrababu Naidu claimed that police were acting on command of state government. Naidu also went on to claim that DGP is t giving appointments to TDP leers.

'Blood Donation camps were organised'- Andhra DGP
According to DGP, 1,81,315 students attended open house programmes. He also said that blood donation camps were organised. camp was attended by 10,513 people, including police, who came forward and donated blood. Sawang also informed that weekly-off system has benefitted 62,000 police families.

"A special app for police weekly offs will soon be introduced. Under police insurance Scheme, Rs 40 lakh is being given to police who have me supreme sacrifice while on duty," he ded.
"This is biggest insurance scheme for police force all over India. Home Guards' daily allowance has been increased from Rs 600 to Rs 710," top cop said.
