Animals at Guwahati Zoo are beating the cold with heaters and paddy straws

Guwahati Zoo in Assam has placed heaters outside the enclosures of tigers and to keep the bone-chilling winter winds away. Paddy straws were used for deers etc.

As cold wave in India is on a rise, authorities in Guwahati Zoo have placed heaters to keep animal enclosures warm. Guwahati Zoo has placed heaters outside tigers and lions enclosures to keep bone-chilling winter winds away. recent changes were part of special arrangements done at Assam State Zoo Cum Botanical Garden.

Meanwhile, deer and or animals at zoo h to keep ir bodies warm by pdy straws. Zoo official Praveen while talking to media said that heaters are placed outside enclosures of lions and tigers, y were t kept for deer and or animals because heaters are t good for ir bodies and hence zoo used pdy straws to keep temperature under control.

respite from cold wave in Delhi is t expected anytime soon and people are getting rey to battle harsh winter with some invative ideas. Last week a picture of an auto driver went viral where he has put a bubble wrap to safeguard his passengers from cold winds of Delhi. auto driver created a wall with bubble wrap to help prevent wind from entering back seat.

According to Meteorological Department, Delhi on December 28 recorded coldest day of season. In fact, this is second coldest winter Delhi has witnessed since 1901.
