Anupam Kher's latest film, Hotel Mumbai, which also marks directorial debut of Antony Maras is all set to release in Indian atres on vember 29. movie released in UK last month and has garnered praises for its narrative style. Anupam Kher and Dev Patel starrer is based on vember 2008 terrorist attack on Mumbai's Taj Mahal hotel. story is a retelling of horrors and atrocities faced by hosts at Taj hotel during terrorist siege on vember 26, 2008.

While talking about movie to a news ncy, Anupam Kher shared that movie has taught him to value humanity above anything else. He said, " film celebrates real-life heroes and how y were able to discover ir cour. Sometimes you discover your cour in a situation like this. As actors, we are widely celebrated but se are heroes who need to be in spotlight. This film me me learn biggest lesson of my life - to value humanity above all."

He also shared about his journey in film industry and how 'Hotel Mumbai' holds a special place for actor as it is his 501st film. Describing his experience he said, "It's been 35 amazing years for me in this great industry I work in. I have h fortune to work on such impeccable films and with equally impeccable talent. I think any actor would agree that one doesn't count number of movies y do, an actor is greedy for more parts, for better parts and that's what my journey has been defined by. I'm happy this film, "Hotel Mumbai" is my 501st film, it's a landmark project for me and for all those brave souls who help continue spirit of humanity in dire times of need."
