Anurag Thakur: Congress, AAP 'Khotay Sikke', Punjab People Fed Up
Anurag Thakur called Congress, AAP "bad coins," saying Punjab voters are fed up with their "corruption" in a campaign for BJP's Kewal Singh Dhillon in Barnala.

bypolls for four assembly seats—Gidderbaha, Dera Baba Nanak, Chabbewal, and Barnala—are scheduled for vember 20, with vote counting set for vember 23.

"Both parties try to defraud people by making "false" promises to people," Thakur stated in Barnala that BJP's vote share h increased in Punjab during 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
"People of Punjab are fed up with corrupt AAP and Congress. Both se parties are 'khotay sikke'. People are looking at an alternative. People see a golden chance in BJP and if it comes (to power) in Punjab will move ahe," Thakur said.

Thakur accused Bhagwant Mann government of failing to fulfill its election promises, including t providing Rs 1,000 per month to women as promised.
He said that Punjab government raised fuel prices by increasing VAT and drove industrialists away due to its weak control over law and order.

"Neir AAP government has any policy r any clean intention. re has been daily news of crime, extortion and murder in Punjab. It matters little wher state has a chief minister," said Hamirpur MP.
"Neir 'jawan', 'kisan' r 'naujawan' is happy with AAP," he said.

Thakur also claimed that pdy procurement issue arose because of Mann government's mismanment.
Punjab government has been blaming Centre for "slow" pdy lifting and DAP fertiliser short.

" government here went to sleep after being drubbed in Lok Sabha polls. I feel Bhagwant Mann went on a leave for three months. meeting was held," Thakur said.
" Centre sent Rs 44,000 crore to Punjab (for crop procurement). Farmers were forced to wait for many days for crop lifting in mandis," he claimed.
