In wake of alarming levels of air pollution in national capital which has escalated to "severe-plus" category, Oscar-winning musician and composer AR Rahman has taken to Twitter to remark on a 'bar' in Delhi that supposedly serves pure oxygen to its customers.
About Oxygen Bar
oxygen bar that goes by name 'Oxy Pure' in Delhi's Saket area offers pure oxygen to its customers in seven different aromas such as lemongrass, orange, cinnamon, spearmint, peppermint, eucalyptus, and lavender. Amid rising air pollution levels in city, bar is said to have witnessed a steep rise in number of visitors. Customers are of view that bar will provide a big relief to elders and children who are more susceptible to high levels of air pollution.

Reportedly, bar offers pure oxygen starting at Rs 299 and goes up to Rs 499 for a 15-minute session. Apart from serving flavoured oxygen, bar also sells portable take away cans of oxygen that can be carried by customers and use it as per ir disposal.
How does it work?
customers at bar are required to strap a tube to ir strils that gives m a breath of oxygenated air with a fragrance of ir choice. air y brea is generated by an oxygen concentrating machine that purifies air around it and delivers it to customer. However, rapy doesn't help to cure any diseases and is purely for rejuvenation purposes. concept is more common in countries such as France and Japan. Tokyo houses oxygen bars for dogs too.
