Armed Men Rob Jewellery Worth Lakhs From Shop In Patna's Kankarbagh

Patna: In a sensational incident, at least four armed men robbed a jewellery shop in Kankarbagh area in Bihar capital Patna on Saturday evening sending a sense of fear among people in and around area. Patna police confirmed incident saying that robbery took place at around 7 pm in evening at a shop located on main ro in Kankarbagh. 

Talking to reporters, Shubhank Mishra, Superintendent of Police (SP-East), Patna, said four armed criminals overpowered guards and carried out robbery inside jewellery shop. Preliminary investigations revealed that y looted Rs 50,000 in cash and jewellery worth Rs 3 lakh.

y carried out robbery by taking staff host at gunpoint. Later, y decamped with looted jewellery, cash and or items within a few minutes, SP said.

"We are examining CCTV foot and collecting or relevant evidence from spot. A manhunt has been launched to nab accused…. and teams have been sent to different locations to apprehend m. matter is being examined furr", said SP. 

Furr details regarding incident are being awaited.
