Massive support has poured in from across country for Republic Media Network and its Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami amid ongoing witch-hunt against channel by Param Bir Sing-led Mumbai Police over past couple of weeks. 

From taking to streets to walk silently against force's brazen attempt to clampdown press freedom to voicing support and creating a massive buzz on Twitter, citizens have expressed ir solidarity towards channel and towards Arnab on a daily basis.

On Thursday, people of India proved ir firm standing with Republic Media Network and its Editor-in-Chief as hashtag "#NationWithFearlessArnab" began trending on Twitter. hashtag has attracted more than 35k tweets by 10 am on Thursday with users writing: "Truth can t be suppressed and always is ultimate victor. voice of Arnab and Republic who stand for and with public can never be suppressed."

Witch-hunt against Republic Media Network

In total, Republic Media Network's manment & editorial staff have endured over 150 hours of questioning in a variety of cases that are beyond initial fraud TRP matter in which re h been an effort to implicate Republic. Mumbai Police summoned Republic's Output Editor Sagarika Mitra, who was questioned for 2 hours on Tuesday. Shortly after, Senior Associate Editor Shivani Gupta was called in for questioning by Mumbai police. 

latest summons came after Republic’s Senior Associate Editor Shawan Sen and Executive Editor Niranjan Narayanaswamy were questioned on Saturday. duo was questioned again on story wherein Republic h shared that Mumbai Police officers were unhappy with commissioner Param Bir Singh amid witch-hunt against Republic. journalists maintained that y won’t reveal ir sources.
