As rumours of unrest in the Kashmirvalley spreads, Jammu and Kashmir cops clarified that the state was peaceful and 'fabricated' videos are being spread.

A Jammu and Kashmir Police office shared a drone video of state on August 10. It shows ros fill with vehicles and poeple continuing with ir chores. video has clips from many districts namely Baramula, Pulwama, Budgam, Ganderbal. It also shows different locations in Srinagar. State Police statement on Kashmir:
Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday night said situation in state was peaceful and untoward incident has been reported in last one week. "re has been untoward incident barring mir stone-pelting which was dealt with on spot and was nipped in bud," Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh told PTI.

He was asked about situation in state after Congress leer Rahul Gandhi told media-persons in New Delhi that situation in J-K has deteriorated.Minutes after Gandhi me statement, Srinagar Police also tweeted that situation was peaceful. "Situation in valley has remained rmal today. untoward incident has been reported. At selective locations restriction was lifted temporarily," it said.

NSA Ajit Doval's ground report:
National Security visor (NSA) Ajit Doval who is in valley sent a report to Home Ministry saying situation is rmal in Kashmir.
On ground to review security situation, NSA Ajit Doval told Centre that decision to revoke Article 370 has been widely welcomed by people of Kashmir. re is peace and rmalcy in J&K and it h been event free. agitation and people are also moving about for essential work," NSA Ajit Doval said.

Furr in his report, NSA Ajit Doval said locals feel reassured with Amit Shah's statement on Jammu and Kashmir becoming a state again. Home Minister Amit Shah's statement that J&K will become a state again one day at appropriate time if situation improves and that we don’t want it to remain UT forever has been welcomed by local population, Doval said. Locals are supportive and feel change was well-planned and feel sufficiently reassured by statements and actions of Centre, Doval mentioned in his report to Centre.

Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen KJS Dhillon's statement:
Republic TV on Thursday spoke exclusively and at length to Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen KJS Dhillon, who gave an on-ground account of current security situation in Kashmir valley in aftermath of its full integration as Indian Parliament passed Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill that scraped Article 370 and bifurcated state into two union territories - J&K and Lakh.
Informing about security situation he said, " In last 4 days re has t been a single human casualty - be it civilian or security personnel. That is an achievement in itself. Despite lots happening, control is positive and re is absolute calm in valley." He n clarified that army is reaching at far flung areas to help each and every citizens: "re is need to panic. Everyone is being looked after. Having said that - re are certain restrictions for safety and security of people. Security situation is 100 % under control and rmal as of w," Chinar Corps Commander said.
