Congress is not part of JK government despite fighting polls in alliance with NC.

Slamming ruling NC-led coalition government in Union Territory over passage of resolution, Irani said, " government elected through democratic framework is giving evidence of breaking India inste of working on development issues and uniting India." After abrogation of Article 370, JK witnessed a decline in terror incidents by 70 per cent and deaths in such incidents came down by 80 per cent, former Union minister said.

She also asked if Congress-led "INDI alliance" stands against "economic and constitutional interests" of JK as well as rights that tribal population, Dalits, OBCs, women and children have got with revocation of Article 370.

"What y seek is special status for mselves not people of Jammu and Kashmir," she said.

BJP members continued to protest in JK Assembly on Thursday against resolution and three party MLAs were marshalled out on directions of Speaker Abdul Rahim Rar.

Reacting to developments, Irani said, "Today, I stand as an Indian citizen outraged at attempt by Congress-led INDI alliance to bring to floor of House a resolution that stands against Indian Constitution and opinion of Supreme Court of India... I am today joined in my outrage by people of India and 'karyakartas' of BJP." Irani said resolution passed by "INDI alliance led by Congress" brings to fore many questions.

" Congress leership and particularly Gandhi family need to answer wher y stand for terrorism and are against development of Jammu and Kashmir. Do y stand for breaking of India rar than stand and abide by Constitution," she asked.

" question that Congress-led leership has to answer, particularly in states of Jharkhand and Maharashtra , is does it stand against valour of citizens who donned uniforms in Indian armed forces to protect us better," she ded.
