Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019, after being admitted to AIIMS in New Delhi on August 9. hospital issued a statement recently anuncing that Arun Jaitley took his last breath at 12:07 pm. Lata Mangeshkar pays tribute to Arun Jaitley
Recently, Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar paid tribute to Arun Jaitley. In a recent Twitter post, she shared pictures with Arun Jaitley and said that she is 'deeply saddened' by demise of BJP Lawmaker. Hailing Arun Jaitley as 'a dynamic leader and a thorough gentleman' Lata Mangeshkar said that she is cherishing memories of veteran political leader visiting her and ir extensive conversations. Lata Mangeshkar also extended condolences to Arun Jaitley's family.
"Deeply saddened by sad demise of Arun Jaitley ji. A dynamic leader, a thorough gentleman and our former Finance Minister. Very kindly, he had come over to meet me and we spoke for a long time. Will cherish those memories. Heartfelt condolences to family," Lata Mangeshkar wrote in post.

Arun Jaitley held several important portfolios
Arun Jaitley is best kwn for having served as Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs in first Narendra Modi government has also held portfolios of Defence and Information and Broadcasting.
