Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appealed to people to help AAP fight the upcoming assembly polls as the party does not have the money to fight elections.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday appealed to people to help AAP fight upcoming assembly polls here as party does t have money to fight elections. Kejriwal also said he will get registry of houses in unauthorised colonies done and asked people t to trust anyone till y get registry documents in ir hands.

"We have done a lot of work in Delhi in last five years. We do t even have money to fight elections, I did t earn a single penny in last five years, it is you all who have to fight elections for me," a statement quoted chief minister as saying at a public meeting in rth Delhi's Burari.
Kejriwal alleged that BJP wants to regularise unauthorised colonies but does t want to grant registry. He also questioned move of BJP-led central government to confer ownership rights to residents of se colonies just before assembly elections due early next year. "re are talks by Centre to regularise unauthorised colonies. I want to ask, why could y t do it in last five years when I was improving conditions by building ros, sewer and water connections in se colonies?," Kejriwal asked.

Residents can apply for ownership rights
On Saturday, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri h said that residents in se colonies would be able to apply for ownership rights starting December 16 and y would get ownership certificate within 180 days from date of application. "Do t trust anyone until y (Centre) do t give you registry," Kejriwal said, promising crowd that he will do anything to take registry for se colonies. He attacked opposition parties for doing thing for progress of unauthorised colonies in Delhi.
