Just 13 states in India are allowed to conduct legal lotteries after the Supreme Court's prohibition on selling lotteries. One of them is the state of  Assam that conducts the Assam State Lottery. The tickets are sold at a base price of roughly ₹6 each. The first-place winner's prize money is about ₹10 lakhs.

PRIZES AND TYPES

Assam has different kinds of lotteries, which have different cash prizes. Out of them, three major categories offer five prizes that have multiple winners. With the tickets priced so low, the Assamese population can easily buy a ticket for the same. The three lotteries and their timings are-

1. ASSAM FUTURE LOTTERY - 12:00 pm

1st Prize – ₹10 Lakhs (one person).

2nd Prize – ₹10000 (ten people).

3rd Prize – ₹1000 (ten people).

4th Prize – ₹500 (ten people).

5th Prize – ₹200 (a hundred people).

2. ASSAM SINGAM LOTTERY - 5:00 pm

1st Prize – ₹15 Lakhs (one person).

2nd Prize – ₹20000 (ten people).

3rd Prize – ₹2000 (ten people).

4th Prize – ₹1000 (ten people).

5th Prize – ₹250 (a hundred people)

3. ASSAM KUIL LOTTERY - 8: 00 pm

1st Prize – ₹10 Lakhs (one person).

2nd Prize – ₹10000 (ten people).

3rd Prize – ₹1000 (ten people).

4th Prize – ₹500 (ten people).

5th Prize – ₹200 (a hundred people).
