Aviation Watchdog To Probe Air India Express Mid-Air Hydraulic Failure
Air India Express flight with 140-onboard from Trichy to Sharjah developed a mid-air hydraulic failure but landed safely at the airport.

New Delhi: Air India Express flight which developed a mid-air technical snag but landed safely at Trichy airport will be investigated by Aviation regulator DGCA. flight suffered a hydraulic failure while operating from Trichy to Sharjah on Friday. aviation watchdog will w inspect flight to ascertain reason behind it.
A panic situation h erupted after aircraft carrying 141 people suffered a hydraulic failure soon after take-off and went around Trichy for nearly two-and-a-half hours before making a safe landing at Trichy airport.

In a statement, Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu said airport and emergency teams responded swiftly and effectively after a full emergency was declared at 6:05 pm. flight landed at 8:15 pm.

" Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been instructed to conduct a thorough examination of aircraft to determine exact cause of hydraulic issue.
"In meantime, Air India Express has been vised to provide all necessary assistance to passengers, including alternate arrangements for ir onward journey," Naidu said.
