Ayodhya: Ayodhya is celebrating its first Diwali after construction of grand Ram Temple following a wait over 500 years. occasion marks significant importance for residents and devotees of Lord Ram and lakhs of ors who for centuries supported Ram Mandir movement, and finally getting hundreds of years old wish to see a grand Ram Temple in town, which was inaugurated earlier this year on January 22.

In Ayodhya, Uttar Presh Chief Minister Yogi ityanath offered prayers at Ram Janmabhoomi Temple along with Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak.

Meanwhile, this year, Ayodhya has set a target of lighting over 25 lakh diyas, to set anor world record. A large number of people are present along banks of Sarayu River in Ayodhya to witness grand Deepotsav celebration.
