'Ayodhya Is Beginning Of Sanatan Dharma': CM Yogi Marks First Diwali After Lord Ram's Homecoming

Ayodhya: Ayodhya is celebrating its first Diwali after the construction of the grand Ram Temple following a wait over 500 years. The occasion marks significant importance for the residents and devotees of Lord Ram and lakhs of others who for centuries supported the Ram Mandir movement, and finally getting hundreds of years old wish to see a grand Ram Temple in the town, which was inaugurated earlier this year on January 22.

In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple along with Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak.

Meanwhile, this year, Ayodhya has set a target of lighting over 25 lakh diyas, to set another world record. A large number of people are present along the banks of the Sarayu River in Ayodhya to witness the grand Deepotsav celebration.

Addressing the people of Ayodhya, CM Yogi Adityanath said, "...The people who forced you to bathe in dirty water at Ram ki Paidi, "aaj vo log bhi Ayodhya aake apni taal thokna chahate hain."
