Ayodhya SSP details law and order steps before Supreme Court verdict

In light of verdict in Ram Janambhoomi Babri Masjid land dispute case that is expected in upcoming few days, Ayodhya Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ashish Tiwari said on Wednesday that security arrangements have been me to maintain law and order in temple town. Elaborate deployment of forces and confidence-building measures has been ensured to maintain law and order in district.
Appropriate measures are in place in Ayodhya
While speaking to news ncy ANI, he said, "Elaborate deployment of forces, intelligence network and confidence-building measures are in place. We have launched a mobile application connecting 16,000 volunteers in 1,600 vills, 10 volunteers each. We are also actively combating rumours on social media." Security has been tightened in Ayodhya district as top court is expected to prounce its verdict in deces-long Ayodhya land case before vember 17, when Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi demits office.

Centre has given Uttar Presh almost 4,000 extra paramilitary personnel
Earlier, District Magistrate Court h imposed Section-144 in district in anticipation of a verdict in title dispute case. decision was also taken considering upcoming festivals. Section 144 will be in effect till December 10, Ayodhya District Magistrate Anuj Kumar Jha h said in an order. Centre has given Uttar Presh almost 4,000 extra paramilitary personnel, in order to maintain law and order situation in state during and after prouncement of judgment in sensitive case. A decision was me on Monday where Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has granted 15 companies of paramilitary forces to Uttar Presh immediately which will stay in state till vember 18. local ministration has been asked to make arrangements for deployment of security force personnel in various parts of state.

Supreme Court reserves verdict
Supreme Court on October 16, reserved verdict in Ayodhya land dispute case. bench of apex court heed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, and comprising of SC judges Justices S.A. Bobde, D.Y. Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan, S. Abdul Nazeer reserved verdict after a marathon day-to-day hearing in case.
