Azim Premji pays homage to RSS founder in RSS' Nagpur headquarters

Azim Premji, one of the pioneers of the Indian Information Technology industry and founder of Wipro Limited, visited the Smruti Mandir at Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters on Saturday, October 5, to pay tribute to its founder Dr KB Hedgewar. Premji also paid homage to the second Sarsanghchalak of the organization MS Golwalkar. Various officials of the Nagpur administration were also present during Premji's visit.

Gifted books to Premji on his visit
Dr Hedgewar Memorial Committee of RSS gifted various books on Sangh literature to Premji while he wrote a message in the visitor book of the memorial. The committee also shared with Premji, information of various programs undertaking by the organization.

Shiv Nadar, chief guest for the Vijayadashami event
On the eve of Dussehra on Tuesday, October 8, the nationalist organization also hosted HCL founder-chairman Shiv Nadar after the ritual of ‘Shastra Puja’. Shiv Nadar was the chief guest of the Vijayadashami and Dussehra event at Reshimbagh ground in Maharashtra's Nagpur. The HCL founder also addressed the party cadre and asserted that the government alone cannot take the country to the next level and equal involvement from all stakeholders was needed. The day of Dussehra is also the inception day of the organization 94 years ago.

Other Industry bigwigs' participation in RSS events
Besides Premji, several other industry bigwigs have shared the stage with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and have been a part of the RSS events. In September this year, veteran industrialist and chairman of the Bajaj Group, Rahul Bajaj also paid a courtesy visit to the memorial of RSS founder Dr KB Hegdewar in Reshimbaug area in Nagpur. One of the top industrialists and former Tata Group Chairman, Ratan Tata had also shared stage with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat last year in Mumbai on completing 50 years of RSS-affiliated NGO Nana Palkar Smruti Samiti.
