Chatrapal Saroj, who was present nearby when Baba Siddique was shot at said, "When firing happened, re was a stampede, he could not understand what happened. At first he thought that firecrackers were being burst, but when firing happened, re was chaos." He furr said, "Police was also present here, still firing happened."

Baba Siddique, according to police sources, was shot by three masked assailants outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqui's office near Colgate ground in Nirmal Nagar, Bandra East, Mumbai on Saturday evening. former state minister was mitted to Lilavati Hospital but couldn't survive, a police official said.
